Education & Career
While studying, Ann-Kathrin specialized in business, competition, and data law. She further deepened her knowledge in two continuing education programs under the academic supervision of Prof. Dr. Specht-Riemenschneider. There, she dealt intensively with issues relating to data access, data protection, digital business models, and the legal design of new technologies. This enabled her to develop an in-depth theoretical understanding of data protection and technology-related legal issues.
Parallel to her studies, Ann-Kathrin worked for several years in the field of data protection and compliance, both in national and international corporate structures. There, she supported the practical implementation of data protection requirements, conducted training and awareness-raising measures, coordinated consultation processes, and accompanied data protection projects at European and Asian locations.
In doing so, she gained a deeper understanding of how data protection requirements can be implemented sustainably in different organizational environments.
