Daniela Schott is a lawyer and certified data protection officer. She specializes primarily in the area of international data protection and corporate data protection and has in-depth knowledge of ICT and IP law.

Education & Career

Daniela studied at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, Università degli Studi di Verona (Italy) and at the University of Cologne with a focus on International Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and practice-related areas of Criminal Law. She also completed an advanced Master’s degree in IP & ICT Law at KU Leuven (Brussels Campus), specializing in international and European data protection law and cybercrime law.

Daniela was drawn abroad during her studies. She studied for a semester in Verona and completed an internship at the International Telecommunication Union in Geneva in the ICT Applications and Cybersecurity Division of the Telecommunication Development Bureau.

Daniela also continued her digital studies during her legal clerkship, with positions at Bitkom e.V. in the areas of copyright, IT law and media policy, and at the German Federal Ministry of Economics in the area of digital policy.

Today, Daniela advises our clients on the design and revision of privacy-compliant websites and privacy statements. Previously, she worked as a legal officer in the areas of human resources, telecommunications and consumer protection.
