Education & Career
David completed his law studies in Cologne and has also expanded his legal knowledge in the course of business studies. He gained practical experience abroad during his participation in the Erasmus program at the Palais de Justice of the city of Clermont-Ferrand in France in cooperation with the president of the court.
David went on to complete his legal clerkship in Aachen and Bonn, where he performed mandate-specific work in criminal law. David Kroen’s academic work at the German Institute for Human Rights (Deutsches Institut für Menschenrechte e.V.) included the preparation of the Human Rights Situation Report 2022.
Today, David’s clients include software providers, insurance companies and industrial enterprises.
Milestones
- Certified data protection officer (TÜV Nord)
- Legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Aachen and the Regional Court of Bonn with stations at the German Institute for Human Rights, among others;
- law studies in Cologne with focus on: criminology, juvenile criminal law, penal system
- studies of business administration and master studies in business law
