Trutz Mumot is a lawyer and certified data protection officer in the KINAST team. He primarily advises banks as well as medium-sized companies from various business sectors on a wide range of data protection issues and topics.

Education & Career

Trutz grew up in Solingen and studied law at the universities of Bielefeld, Münster and Zaragoza (Spain).

His daily duties includes checking compliance with data protection regulations and the obligation to report data protection incidents, as well as communicating with the supervisory authorities. The daily tasks also include checking new tools or adjustments to websites (cookies, privacy notices, etc.). If urgent adjustments are necessary due to court rulings or changes in the law, Trutz advises his clients on the speedy implementation and always develops solution options focused on practicability.

Trutz is actively involved in many different sports. Through his participation in competitive tennis he learned at an early age that, if you work hard, you can achieve your goals.
