Education & Career
Carolin had gained several years of professional experience in the field of traffic law during her studies and her legal clerkship before joining KINAST and dedicating herself to a completely new but not entirely unknown area of specialisation. She wrote her seminar paper as part of her specialisation in private international law with the current Federal Commissioner for Data Protection, Prof. Dr. Louisa Specht-Riemenschneider, in the field of data access and data ownership.
In addition to a German-English bilingual Abitur and specialised foreign language training, Carolin also has a Diplôme d`Études en Langue Française (DELF) and can therefore be used by the team in a variety of languages.

Carolin grew up in the southern part of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany and has always remained true to her home region. She studied law in Bonn, specialising in private international law and comparative law, and completed her legal clerkship at Cologne Regional Court. In addition to her work at KINAST, Carolin is a referee in the Fußballverband Mittelrhein, where she officiates junior and senior matches.
