Helge Kauert is a lawyer and managing director of KINAST Lawyer Services. In this function, and due to his affinity in the subject, he is responsible in particular for the IT and it’s related processes of the entire group.

Education & Career

Due to his many years of work at KINAST Rechtsanwälte – initially at the Munich office in 2011 – Helge brings in-depth experiential knowledge to almost all of our processes. In doing so, he always has an open ear and an open door for anyone who needs his advice.

These days Helge’s role within our organisation ranges conciderably. As a lawyer and certified external data protection officer, he works on an ‚Of Counsel‘ role, providing vital legal advice as and when needed for KINAST Attorneys at Law. Helge has many years of practical experience in implementing data protection law requirements in medium-sized and corporate organizations.

Helge also maintains the IT infrastructure and systems used by our law firm and our clients, manages our external IT service provider, the helpdesk they provide and the smotth operation of all our internal systems. Furthermore, he is jointly responsible for internal communication, internal projects and process management. He also supports the managing partners in further development and strategic orientation of the company.

Born in Germany‘s Rhineland, Helge then grew up in Munich. He studied and worked there for the first 14 years of his professional life. He now lives with his family in beautiful Schleswig-Holstein and works for us at our headquarters in Cologne.
